I know SO many friends who are seeing amazing results with faithfully following a low carb, Keto lifestyle. But when it comes to holidays, sticking to the straight and narrow can be tough!

Holiday foods are more than tasty treats - for me, they're a kind of sensory conduit to the memories and magic of Christmases past. That's not just a gingerbread cookie we're talking about - it's the taste of evergreen wreaths and first snowfalls and candle-light services. It's magic.

So finding ways to put health first, while keeping the magic, is something worth not giving up on! Thankfully, there are some absolutely amazing low carb Christmas cookie recipes out there that don't make us compromise on either.

I'm super excited to share with you some of the best low carb, keto-friendly Christmas cookie recipes that I've found. This whole list is just a culinary delight, and I hope you and your family will find some new favorites here!

26 of the BEST Keto Christmas Cookies

Almond Crescent Cookies

keto almond crescents

I honestly think with the lower sweetness and the hearty almond flavor, these are better than the classic recipes most of us are used to! Definitely a new favorite!

Low Carb Gingerbread Cookies

These make a beautiful, soft gingerbread cookie, and are great for getting out the cookie cutters, and doing gingerbread cut-outs as a whole family!

Low Carb Peanut Blossoms

A keto-friendly rendition of the traditional peanut butter blossoms. I think I'd cry if I had to leave these out of my Christmas cookie list!

Walnut Snowball Cookies

We grew up calling these Russian tea cakes. Others call them Mexican wedding cakes or snowballs cookies. Whatever the name, I can't celebrate Christmas without making them at least once!

Gluten Free Shortbread Cookies

Aren't these beautiful? We are big shortbread fans, so finding a healthier option (especially one this gorgeous!) is really exciting!

Keto Cream Cheese Cookies

This would be a great recipe for getting out grandma's cookie cutters, and doing some Christmas baking with the kids!

Keto Amaretti Cookies

These decadent little filled cookies are just lovely, and nicely take the place of jam thumbprints in a Christmas cookie basket.

Keto Gingerbread Christmas Cookies

For a sturdier gingerbread cookie that can hold up to making more elaborate cutouts, and gingerbread houses, this is the recipe I'm going to try.

Pumpkin Pie Snowball Cookies

keto pumpkin pie balls

Pumpkin pie in a bite-sized cookie...yes please! I have a feeling I'm going to make these all fall, and just. not. stop.

White Chocolate Peppermint Shortbread Cookies

A peppermint twist on a keto rendition of classic shortbread cookies. My husband loves anything peppermint, and I have a feeling this will be a new favorite!

Pecan Pie Biscotti

Now these, I can hardly wait to try! While I always wanted to love pecan pie, I could never get past the goopy, sugary, sweetness. THIS is more like it!!

Peppermint Cream Ginger Cookies

Perfect, chewy, wonderful gingerbread! I could eat good soft gingerbread cookies for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I might have to keep these in the freezer.

Grain-Free Orange Cream and Cardamom Cookies

This is another recipe that would be great for making rolled cut-out cookies with kids!

Keto Chocolate Macaroons

Anything with coconut is one of my favorites, and the hint of chocolate on the these just pushes them over the top!

Raw Cacao and Coconut Haystacks

keto haystacks

I just got this amazing recipe from Courtney, over at Butter For All last week...and I think I just about have it memorized already. These are JUST. SO. GOOD.

Keto Oreos

While these might not be a classic Christmas cookie...I'd like to suggest that they should be! They're far more beautiful and tasty than the "real" thing, and would make a wonderful addition to any Christmas cookie gift basket.

Snickerdoodle Crème Cookies

These little sandwich cookies are just so adorable! What a creative and wholesome take on the classic snickerdoodle!

Keto Buckeyes

Some call them Peanut Butter Balls, others call them Buckeyes...whatever your moniker of choice, it's not Christmas in our house without them, and I think that's true for a lot of families!

No Bake Coconut Cookies

Again with the coconut love...I could live on these. Really. This is one of those recipes where the quality of the shredded coconut really shines through, so it's worth choosing a good one!

Almond Joy Cookies

It's hard to go wrong with coconut and chocolate!

Cinnamon Swirl Cookies

These would be another fun one to make with slightly older kids. And because of the different shape, and flavor profile would mix things up nicely on a mixed tray of Christmas cookies!

Sugar Free Chocolate Coconut Butter Fudge

keto fudge

Fudge is such a quintessential part of the Christmas smorgasbord, we need some good keto fudge recipes! This is a good chocolate go-to!

Maple Pecan Fudge

I just love the combination of maple and pecan, but most maple fudge that I've tried in the past has been unpalatably sweet. I'm really looking forward to trying this one!

Spiced Orange and Almond Fudge

If you're looking for a unique, and delightful flavor combo - here's a great one to try!

Sugar Free Chocolate Truffles

It's a rare Christmas that I don't make up at least a couple batches of dark chocolate truffles, so having a good keto truffle recipe is a must!

Chocolate Avocado Truffles

Adrienne, over at Whole New Mom never ceases to amaze me with her culinary genius! These are SO GOOD. If you don't tell your kids they have avocado in them, they'll never guess - they'll just think it's one of the BEST chocolate truffles mom ever made.

I hope you and your family find some new favorite Keto Christmas cookies here, that will help keep the Christmas magic while not derailing your health! Low carb Christmas cookies definitely don't have to be drab, as these decadent photos attest!

Happy baking!!
